A lot of pool builders offer to build you a lagoon-style pool. Most of the time what they mean is their normal flat pool with a few more curves thrown in. How about a lagoon style pool that looks like a natural spring coming out of the ground, with boulders taking the place of pool tile and coping? Perhaps a large rock formation with vines and tropical plants could cover part of the pool or even over the spa. A waterfall could fall from the top, creating a romantic private grotto. Low-level landscape lighting or torches light the paths around the pool, and a gas fire pit burns along side the pool deck. What if we add a palm thatched tiki bar somewhere in this scene and create a truly magical place for your next party?

Koi ponds are not just for Japanese gardens anymore! A beautiful, natural looking Koi pond will look great in a tropical resort-style landscape too. Imagine lounging on your back patio in the evening. Built into the patio is a natural-looking stone pond with a small waterfall flowing into it. The pond lights have just turned on and a few brightly colored koi swim through the light to cast shadows onto the surrounding plants.

Tranquil Rock and Water builds all of our ponds the same way we build our pools--with steel and sprayed concrete shells, built-in skimmers and floor drains. We are proud to use only the best pumps and state-of-the-art mechanical filtration on the market today.

No backyard resort is complete without the Tiki Bar. Tranquil Rock and Water has teamed up with several manufacturers of artificial palm-thatch roofing. Artificial thatch looks great and will last for many years. It is waterproof and has a UV inhibiter so it will not fade. Artificial thatch has the look, feel and even the rustling sound of natural thatch. But, more importantly, it will still be there after the storm blows through--one less thing you have to worry about as you serve those frosty margaritas.

How do you get started?

We will make an appointment to come to your location to start the design process,
or we can work off the plans of your landscape designer.

We can design and build your pool or work in conjunction with your own pool builder.

In most cases, Tranquil Rock and Water will begin construction of your waterscape once the pool shell has been poured, the plumbing installed, and a rough grade has been established.

We will listen to what you envision

We discuss the scope of your project based on your vision and our expertise

We will then present a proposal for design and construction with a detailed cost estimate

Most projects are completed in 10 to 14 days, depending on the scope of the project.
